Marvao Medical Devices (MM) is an 'open innovation' company that designs, develops, and markets novel medical devices to address significant unmet clinical needs. MM combines input from clinicians, technology companies, and academia to identify emerging technologies and develop patentable design concepts. We then translate these design concepts into finished products, bring them through the regulatory approval process, and position them for full commercialisation.

MM's first technology platform employs a novel tissue ingrowth scaffold for use on a wide range of long term indwelling catheters. This technology will enable clinicians to reduce the risk of blood stream infections, a significant cause of morbidity and mortality associated with conventional catheter designs.
